Today I want to change default Android SDK path in Android Studio. To change default path to Android SDK you need do the next steps. I describe it via screenshots.
On OSX I personally use the same Android SDK between Android Studio and Xamarin Studio. Just only one issue I faced in the passed, Android Studio suggest to have Android SDK up to date which sometimes cannot be supported by Xamarin yet, for example the version of build-tools.
1. Open Android Studio. Click to enlarge
Open Android Studio. Click to enlarge
Android Studio Sdk Download
2. Configure Android Studio. Click to enlarge
3. Click Project Defaults. Click to enlarge
Click Project Defaults. Click to enlarge
4. Cofigure Android SDK path. Click to enlarge. Go to SDKs -> Android SDK
5. Cofigure Android SDK path. Click to enlarge. Go to Project -> Project SDK
Mac Install Android Sdk
Cofigure Android SDK path.

What can I do to prevent this?
If you are on a personal connection, like at home, you can run an anti-virus scan on your device to make sure it is not infected with malware.
If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices.
